- Collectible tin spinning toy top - 1950s or earlier - by J. Chein - Made in U.S.A. - Material: Metal (tin) and wood - Very colorful: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, black and white - Red handle is made of wood. - Bottom is concentric circular stripes. - Top features Disney characters Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and Donald Duck. - Mickey is playing the trumpet, Donald the drums, and Pluto, horns - Nostalgic and nice to display in a nursery or collectors' cabinet. - Diameter: about 9" MARKS: - A shield with: - J. Chein - Made in U.S.A. - ©Walt Disney Productions CONDITION: Excellent mechanical working condition. Colors are bright (I washed with water and SO much dirt came off and made it very bright!). This is a vintage piece and it was a TOY, so there are dents, surface marks and some oxidation but it's in remarkably good shape for its age and use. Love the graphics and colors! Questions?
