Vintage Italian Silk Averardo Bessi Dress 1960s

Vintage silk caftan style silk jersey dress made by Bessi for Saks Fifth Avenue. Same era as Emilio Pucci. Midi length. Beautiful vibrant blue tones, cobalt and turquoise. Something between a straight and A-line cut, a classic 1960s shape. Zipper at back. Long sleeves. Good vintage condition for its age. Some minor staining and areas where other color has migrated onto the pattern (pink on the sleeve, and peach tone at the bottom of them hem). Neither is particularly noticeable and looks like it could be part of the pattern. Couple of areas where seams are coming apart slightly, but none are completely undone. Made in Italy. Marked vintage size US 10 (Italian 44). Fits like a US medium. Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 15" Pit to pit: 19" Width across bottom: 29" Length: 39.5" Sleeve length, from shoulder: 24"
