Vintage Italian Micro Mosaic Floral Filigree Oval Brooch

This is a beautiful vintage Italian micro mosaic oval brooch featuring three different colored floral blossoms. This handcrafted micro mosaic piece is done by using tiny glass pieces, known as tesserae, which are carefully cut and polished to make this floral motif. The fern green tesserae are the size of rice grains. It features an open filigree gold toned border to complete the dainty look. It measures 1.75" wide and 1.25" high, with a pin back. It is stamped "Italy" on the back and is in excellent vintage condition except for the back pin is slightly bent (see photo). However it adheres securely.
