Vintage Italian Made Unisex Tall Boot EU Size 40

The Size at the bottom of boots says 40 but i am not sure if its a womens or mens in womens it would be US 9 or Mens US 7 the total length from heel to tip is about 11 inches but these are pointed toe so i would say its closer to 10 inches in length. they are a little under 4 inches in width at the widest part of foot They are pretty worn through out please see photos for details.
