Vintage Inlaid Wood Tray with Butterfly Wings

Vintage Brazilian inlaid wood (mahogany) and glass serving tray with real butterfly wings. 16 1/2" x 9 1/4" Morpho butterflies are native to Brazil and have those beautiful iridescent blue wings. This is an older piece (1920 - 1930's) no markings or tags. Bottom blue wing looks like it's moved from postion either at making or over time. Tape was placed over nailheads on the underside to prevent scratches on a table. Some nicks and minor splits on the underside. Beautiful tray to use or display.
