Vintage Indiana Kings Crown Green Thumbprint Glasses Champagne Sherbet Set Of 4
Indiana Glass King's Crown or Thumbprint Avocado Sherbet Dessert Dish, likely from the 1950s or 1960s.
The "King's Crown" or "Thumbprint" pattern features raised, rounded ovals, often called "thumbprints," around the base and rim.
They are made of pressed glass, which is a technique where molten glass is forced into a mold.
This particular dish is an avocado green color, a popular choice for mid-century glassware.
Indiana Glass Sherbet Glasses are in MINT CONDITION.
The glasses measure approx. 3 3/4" across and 3 1/8" high.
There are no chips, cracks or scratches and have a beautiful factory finish! These champagne glasses make great dessert cups for custards, ice cream or puddings.
Indiana Glass Company was a manufacturer of Depression glass and other glassware. The King's Crown pattern was produced by Indiana Glass from the 1940s to the 1970s. After merging with Lancaster Glass Corporation in 1961, Colony continued to manufacture this pattern.
This type of glassware is popular among collectors due to its vintage charm and unique design.
