Vintage Hurricane Lamp - Mid Century Avon Gift Collection

This classic vintage convertible hurricane lamp is all set to hold a pretty taper under the glass, or a pillar, standing alone, without the glass. Produced by Avon in the late 1960s, this charming piece stands 7.75 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. The base shows off a lovely wood stain finish and is covered on the bottom with felt to protect furniture. The brass candle holder features a sharp candle spike to hold any candle sturdy and straight. The globe is constructed of fine glass and should be hand washed. This is a finely crafted hurricane, reminiscent of days gone by, but still quite perfect in today's decor. It is packed in its original styrofoam case and original box.....from a smoke free environment.
