Vintage Holy Mary Sterling Silver Oval Shell Cameo Ring Sz 8 - Blessing Waters - Hand Carved A gorgeous depiction of Mother Mary was hand carved from natural shell. Mary stands in a blessing posture, Holy Water pours from her left hand, and her cloak and veil float gently. It is nicely detailed and well rendered. The cameo is bezel set on the front and prong set on the reverse. The setting measures 1 inch (25mm) by 3/4 inch (19mm). It is held by a split shank. The band is 1/8 inch (4mm) wide at the base. The ring size is 8 US. The cameo was probably carved in Italy and the ring made in the US as it is marked simply 925. Please see photos for details and email us any questions.
