Vintage Highly Collectible Walter Lampl Sterling Heart Charm Necklace

This is a highly collectible vintage sterling double heart charm by Walter Lampl. Walter Lampl was born in 1890 in New York. He was born into humble means and found his love of jewelry making at a young age. In 1921, he opened Lampl Company NY. He was noted for his romantic and whimsical designs. The charm, chain, clasp and o rings are sterling. The chain is a dainty box link. The chain is 16” adjustable to 18” long. The clasp is a stylized lobster clasp. The charm shows two hearts connected by a rope designed love knot. His maker’s mark is shown on the back with “sterling silver” stamped on the side. This sweet necklace polishes beautifully.
