modernthrowback @stephquinz @stephquinz hello! Sorry I never saw your first comment. Is 29" your high waist measurement? As these are 29" across the top at a high waist. The rise from the crotch (sorry for lack of a better word) seam to the top is 12.5". Do you have another pair of high waisted shorts or pants that fit you well that you could measure to compare? These are a few sizes to small for me so I can't try them on.

modernthrowback @stephquinz right below the bottom button they measure 21.5" flat across and there is no stretch to the fabric. I hope this helps!
