This is a rustic ceramic teapot made in Japan between 1930-60. From my research, the artisans make pottery would make themselves a personal teapot to take with them to work. That’s why these are often crude, mixed paint and not a lot of attention to detail. This pot has a little more detail than some, but is still very rustic. It measures 3.73” tall and 2.75” diameter. The tea cup also serves as the lid.
