Vintage Hazel Atlas Moderntone Platonite Yellow Green Chartreuse 1930-50 Creamer & Sugar Bowl Set Please look closely at photos: there are no chips or cracks on the Sugar Bowl, but there ARE chips on the Creamer. If the set is used for display only the creamer can be positioned so the chips are not visible. In 1936 the Hazel Atlas Glass Company applied for & received a patent for the glass process Platonite. This process is an opaque glassware that is treated with a variety of finishes.
