Vintage Haxby Chintz Covered Cheese Dish

This vintage ceramic blue & white floral chintz covered cheese dish is spectacular! "Haxby Made in England" is backstamped on the bottom of the lipped bottom plate as well as the inside of the lid which features a unique shaped handle. This piece measures approximately 7.5 inches long, 5.25 inches wide and 5.75 inches tall including the handle. In excellent preowned vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. There is the normal wear showing where the lid touches the bottom plate, this is so slight that I could not get it to show in a photograph.
