scoutsshop @kwedding1 Hi! So sorry for the delay - Yes it's still available 🙂. I don't see any inserts in the interior to add padding . I believe there are body armor shirts you can wear underneath as an alternative . Let me know if you have any other questions .

scoutsshop @kellykatz421 Hi - I just added a few pics of the sleeves. There are 3 small copper chain links on each to help with the zipper pulls. I’m not sure they are original - but they were on the jacket when I bought it a zillion years ago.
