Vintage Handmade Floral Needlepoint Embroidered Tapestry Handbag Acrylic Handle This gorgeous needlepoint purse is perfect for church, casual wear, any occasion needing vintage flair. Needlepoint handbag features a front floral design embroidered onto a beige background, blue ribbon detail, back features a single embroidered flower on the right corner, tortoiseshell-like chain handle and clasp closure (possibly acrylic?), clean sage green lining, one interior pocket, 1972 embroidered on the side. A last name and first initial is also embroidered but I cannot make-out what it says. Purse is approximately 9 inches long, 6 inches tall, 13 inches from top of chain handle to the bottom. It has excellent craftsmanship, the needlepoint is well-executed with precise, even stitches, making it a highly collectible piece. Handbag is in excellent condition.
