Vintage Hand-Painted Matryoshka Russian Nesting Dolls Exquisite hand-painted Russian nesting dolls featuring intricate designs in blue and gold! This set of vintage Russian Nesting Dolls, known as "Matryoshka", is a great example of a high quality Russian artwork and a beautiful addition to any collection. The set consists of five wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside another. Each of the five dolls is handmade and hand-painted, making them unique and one-of-a-kind. The largest doll displays the signature “Kravtchenko” at the bottom. The tallest doll is approximately 5” tall and the shortest doll is approximately 2” tall. Excellent vintage condition.
