Unique vintage Raku pottery vase/bowl, hand-glazed at a craft fair over 20 years ago. The piece was kiln-fired using the Raku method, which gives it its distinctive crackled finish, smoky textures, and earthy tones of gray, green, brown, burgundy and cream. About Raku Pottery: Raku is a traditional Japanese firing process where glazed ceramics are removed from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed into combustible materials, creating dramatic crackling, color variations, and smoky effects.
