Unique vintage Raku pottery vase/bowl, hand-glazed at a craft fair over 20 years ago. The piece was kiln-fired using the Raku method, which gives it its distinctive crackled finish, smoky textures, and earthy tones of gray, green, brown, burgundy and cream.
About Raku Pottery:
Raku is a traditional Japanese firing process where glazed ceramics are removed from the kiln while still glowing hot and placed into combustible materials, creating dramatic crackling, color variations, and smoky effects. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind due to the unpredictability of the firing.
This piece has a rustic, organic feel that makes it perfect as a decorative vessel, art pottery display, or a unique handmade accent in your home.
Condition: Vintage, in good condition. No chips or cracks. Please see photos for details.
