Vintage Hand-Carved Philippine Monkey Pod Wood Cube Container

This is a stunning, substantial piece of artisan craftsmanship! Hand-carved in the Philippines, this solid wood container features a beautiful floral motif and a gorgeous natural grain that wraps around its rounded square silhouette. • Origin: Authentic "Made in the Philippines" (original sticker intact on bottom).
 • Material: Likely Monkey Pod or Acacia wood—known for its durability and rich color.
 • Design: Deeply carved flower detail on the front with a smooth, polished finish.
 • Dimensions: Approximately 5" Tall x 5" Wide. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor character marks. I want to be 100% transparent so you love your purchase! There are two specific spots to note (see photos): • Internal Hot Glue: I previously used this for a silk flower arrangement and secured the foam with a bit of hot glue. I chose to leave it as-is rather than risk damaging the wood by scraping it out. It’s mostly internal and doesn't affect the outward beauty!
 • Front Lip: There is one small, shallow scratch on the top front edge (pictured).
