Vintage Hand Painted Geisha Courtesan Mirrored Powder Box Trinkets or Jewelry

Very good, preowned vintage conditions, silver metal circular box with lid has a hand painted picture of a beautiful Japanese geisha, or courtesan lady. Ornate edges on the box. Inside it is smooth silvery metal in the base and the top holds a very nice clear mirror. Originally used as a ladies powder box maybe for her boudoir it can also be used for small jewelry pieces. 3 inches in diameter and about a one and a quarter inch tall, the depth of the box is about 3/4 of an inch. The box can close nice and tight. The artwork is under glass on the lid.  17
