This is a Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Sliding Bookends with Squirrels Motif. It measures 6 1/2" high and 5 1/2" deep. It extends from a minimum of 13" to a maximum of 19 1/2" end to end. The piece is in excellent overall condition with minor signs of wear consistent with its age and use.
