Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Shore Bird

This beautiful piece is from 1939. The bottom is marked with initials CW. I couldn't find any information on it but it is a high quality well done piece. The wood is very smooth and in good vintage condition. There are some very minor scratches on the end of the tail and the tip of the beak which is not a big deal I just had to mention it.
