Vintage Hand Carved Single Wooden Owl Bookend w Books, Spectacles and Two Toes

Offering this hand carved wooden owl single bookend or sculpture perched beside books with decorative cover carvings. Dimensions are as shown in photo Nicely detailed in uniformity with dimensional thought. Curved dimensional texture to the feathers almost resembles a closed pinecone. Wiped with a cloth w aerosol Liquid Gold for moisturizer effect for optimal observation of photographic details. Have not seen a signature there is a green rubberized base which I have not try to remove. Unidentified wood species - not an expert -but does seem like a nice grain my guess would be walnut. Likely vintage it could be antique. Only found one other similar example a pair in an antique store Smoke free - pet free home. Though It is designed to hold books upright it can be displayed in your own alternative ways. In preowned vintage condition wood, carving details and stain as shown, some light evidence of use and age might be noted. Please expect incidental evidence of age and use, such as light scratches, scuffs, dust, toning or fading.
