Vintage Hand Blown Blue Glass Pitcher 6 inch Mid Century Art Glass with Clear Handle Condition: Good vintage condition; displays light surface wear and minor scuffs typical of age. There is a visible pontil mark on the base from hand blowing, and there is a crack and a flaw present on the bottom of the pitcher near the pontil mark as shown in the close-up photos. No other noted chips or repairs. Rich blue glass body with rounded ribbed sides gives this pitcher a beautiful, eye-catching appearance. Clear, applied glass handle features visual air bubbles and hand shaping typical of artisan glassware. Generous pouring spout and sturdy construction. Hand blown with evidence of pontil scar on base. Measures approximately 6" tall and about 3.75" wide at the body (see photos for visual reference of size). Perfect as a functional pitcher or as a decorative vase.
