Vintage Hall Fireproof China Boston Shape Cobalt and Gold Teapot Produced by Hall Fireproof China Founded in 1903 by Robert Hall in East Liverpool, Ohio Shape - Boston Color - Cobalt with gold embellishment Style - 03 S 6 cup - 10 oz Measures about 6” H x 9”W This teapot is now used for display purposes only as the lid has been chipped and cracked over time. It has not been repaired but remains in it’s vintage/antique condition. Most likely made in the 30s-40s according to researching stamp records. A beautiful piece of history that has survived through the decades. It is vibrant cobalt and the gold embellishment remains but shows wear consistent with age. To date, I’ve only found a few of this style with this particular gold treatment of the spout and handle. Different variations exist but this one seems a bit unique!
