Vintage HFB Henry F Barrows Etched Sterling Silver Hinged Bangle Bracelet

Dating to the 1960s/1970s or so, may I offer this Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) hinged cuff - hinged bangle bracelet featuring an etched design to the top and a brushed finish everywhere else. With a button that you press to open, the bracelet opens up to reveal a thin layer of silver that keeps the piece in place - it's also where the designer chose to place the hallmark. Made by HFB aka Henry F Barrows, the bracelet fits on my size 7 wrist but does not move - I think a 6-3/4 wrist will allow for a slightly looser fit. Width of the silver on top is 1/2". Weight of the bracelet is 15.5 grams. Very nice condition with only one slight love tap ding to the outer edge - on the underside portion so its not easily seen. Lovely floral design that just needs a touch of polishing - there are some light surface marks that need to be buffed off. A real beauty ready to be stacked with more of its kind. Henry Francis Barrows (b.7-22-1887 * d.1904) began his jewelry manufacture in 1853 with a small shop in Attleborough Falls, Mass. The firm quickly grew and moved to other, ever larger, locations.
