Vintage 🌸 🌴🌺 HELLO KITTY Hawaii Surf Bedding Comforter Quilt Handmade Twin XL

Absolutely ADORABLE vintage early 2000s Hello Kitty getting her "aloha" on 🌸. She can be found hula dancing, surfing or just plain lookin' cute underneath a pair of palm trees. Super hard to find Aloha Hawaiian Surf Hello Kitty in a comforter. In good condition overall. 60.5" x 94" My best guess on this creation is that is it was a twin flat sheet and someone created a comforter out of it. The top and bottom fabric of the body are still in good condition. Batting is still good and in place. Most of the tufts are 3.5 to 4 inches apart. The yarn is in tact with very little fraying. You could cut the yard to half an inch if you want to make it shorter. Also, there are products for fray prevention as a spray or a liquid. If you are concerned about threads unraveling or coming untied over time, add a small drop of Fray Check or a little spray of Fray Stop to the center of each knot. Noted Flaws: Edge Seams ~ Most of the edge seams have been sewn evenly. A few places are wonky. See pics, #11, #12, #13. Holes ~ A handful of small tiny holes on the surface of the fabric around the edges. Pic #14 is a sample. Stains ~ A few small light stains around the edges of the top comforter (pic #15 is the most obvious) and one on the underside of the body (last pic) . I don’t see any on top of the main body. Freshly laundered on a delicate cycle and dried on a delicate medium heat. Comes from a smoke free home. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for looking!
