This Rare Gruen Soviet wristwatch features a genuine Russian movement and has a gunmetal bezel. The white dial contrasts beautifully with black numeral hour markers and hands and is punctuated by a striking red star at the twelve o'clock position. There is a protective cap over the crown which has to be unscrewed to access the crown and set the time. The watch is in good mechanical condition, running smoothly and keeping time accurately. The glass crystal has been replaced and a new battery has been installed as of 06/24. The case back is made of stainless steel and is marked with 'Soviet', 'Base Metal Bezel', 'Water Resistant', 'Russian Mov’t', and 'P-24560'. The dial bears the marks 'Soviet', 'Gruen', and 'CCCP'.
