Vintage Gripoix / Rousselet Style Red Green Faux Pearl Glass Bead Cluster Choker

Vintage glass bead choker with a mix of faux pearls, red, green swirl, and black faceted glass beads. The cluster style and overall construction suggests it likely dates to the early 20th century (similar styles typically date to the 1930-40s), and is likely French in origin. Louis Rousselet, Maison Gripoix, and other French jewelers have produced similar pieces. Because it’s unsigned I’m not completely certain, but an appraiser and a vintage jewelry dealer have both told me they believe it’s a Rousselet. It’s a beautiful necklace, and I love the way the beads catch the light when it’s worn.
