Elegant vintage gold designer foo lion/shishi fur clip. Intricate design. Shishi are guardian lions of dwellings or buildings that ward off evil spirits. Founded in 1948, Alva Studios only existed until the 1990s. The company’s designers made reproductions of ancient jewelry and sculptures from museums around the world. This fur clip was an estate purchase many years ago from 2 teachers who traveled the world after their retirement.
