Vintage Ghurka no 16 The Keeper Bag

This is a 1983, handcrafted, vintage, no 16 Ghurka bag called The Keeper. The leather has some scratches and is darkened on the handles from wear. The bottom has a water mark or light staining and the front has a small stain as well. Refer to last two photos. The strap can be lengthened to make it a crossbody bag or shortened to wear over the shoulder. The brass hardware including feet, nicely accents the leather. The strap needs some stitching repair which could easily be done by a cobbler. The inside liner has a small tear near the zipper. All signs of wear are shown in photos. The bag is in fair used condition. Measurements 12” length x 8” tall x 5.5” wide at the base The strap can be shortened to 25” and lengthened to approx 47” The handles are 13” long each and about 4” taller than the top of the bag.
