Vintage Genie Costume, Emerald Green Silk, Handmade, Harem Pants

Amazing 1980 or early 1990’s era genie costume, entirely home made in gorgeous emerald green silk. Two piece set - a cropped, bolero style jacket made up of raw Dupioni silk, has a lovely texture to it, and heavily embellished with gems and faux pearls. Designed to be worn open, I have it carefully pinned shut for photos. The harem pants are made of smooth, lightweight silk, meant to be worn lower beneath the hip bones. Adjusts with a hook clasp. Best fits a size medium, approximate measurements listed below. Pants Drop waist: 14.5 - 16in across Length: 36in Jacket Pit to pit: 18.5in Sleeve: 19.5in Length: 15in In very nice, gently worn condition with no major flaws. There are a few loose threads where the beading could be reinforced, I will try to do so before shipping but cannot guarantee. There are a few small dark spots here and there, nothing particularly noticeable unless scrutinized. The silk is creased in some places and could use some delicate TLC, though this also is not particularly noticeable when worn. Unlined, home made (machine sewn) - fraying edges and thread work inside! All as pictured.
