Vintage French Breton carved wooden miniature long case doll clock AS-IS

Please note the wind-up clock mechanism appears to be stuck. Otherwise very good condition. Item sold AS-IS ideal for repair, display, play, or repurposing. The small size suggests it was intended as a decorative item or doll's cabinet, often referred to as a "doll clock". Similar clocks date as far back as the 1920s. I do not know the age of this particular item. The clock is made of dark oak wood. It features intricate hand-carved details, including an openwork wheel motif on the lower door panel and decorative spindles above the clock face. The door hinge is constructed with a solid brass rod. The doorknob turns to latch. Very nice material and detailed craftsmanship. 14” tall.
