Vintage Fordan Womens Wool Coat 1980s Plaid Mohair German Designer Unique RARE

This rare, stunning, and classy vintage women's mohair wool winter coat was made by Fordan, a high end West German designer back in the mid to late 20th century. We estimate this coat to be from the 1980s. The outer coat is 100% new wool in a beautiful plaid design in soft, neutral shades of ivory, beige, and grey. The coat is fully lined with a satin-like viscose material. The sleeves are designed to be cuffed, as pictured, and the coat has two generously sized exterior pockets - perfect for a pair of gloves or the latest iPhone. I cannot stress what a quality items this is. The epitome of vintage elegance and quiet luxury. This coat is German size 42, which translates approximately to a US size XL or 1X or 12/14. Keep in mind that the cut is generous, which gives the coat that classy oversized look that was so popular in the mid to late 20th century. She has all her original buttons - including the extra button sewn to the label. One of the labels/tags came off at one point and someone stapled it to another tag (see photos). I have not removed the staple as it is quite secure, and I don't want to cause any damage. Other than that label, there are no call outs whatsoever.
