Vintage Floral Hand-Painted Ceramic Tile & Metal Wire Trivet ~ Japan

This beautiful Vintage Ceramic Tile Trivet by Norleans was handpainted with a bouquet of flowers and signed by Japanese artist K. Fugita. The multicolor trivet is decorated in shades of rose, green, yellow, peach, and puple on a white background. The trivet is surrounded by a copper-tone metal wire accent in an intricate scalloped design resembling flower petals. The wire border is flexible and can be placed in an outward position for display purposes, folded compactly behind the tile to use as a trivet, or in a downward position to elevate the piece to a display stand status. The tile itself measures approximately 4-1/2" square. The entire piece measures 8-1/4" in diameter when fully extended. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches.
