GREAT vintage chenille tapestry needlepoint embroidery purse / bag with single strap handle and gold toned pin and bar clasp (brass??) Solid upper frame bar (wood??), with a gold interior frame for shape and support; no cracks or chips in frame or support bars, but a few blemishes/scratches noted from normal use Clasp and pin mechanism works great Strap "swings" 180 degrees and is attached to a "U" hinge on upper frame bar with small metal pins Not sure if sides, base and strap are real leather; all of these parts are in great condition consistent with vintage age, with only a few minor nips on the underside strap; some wear on bottom corners of base; see photos Great floral chenille tapestry pattern, in shades of mocha/tan/brown, greens, and dark orange/peach Metallic copper-colored thread adds a shot of overall sparkle!
