Acquired from a private estate collection, this ornate figural pin is hand-crafted in fine silver, which is 99% pure silver and contains more silver content than 925 (92.5%) sterling silver. The intricate filigree work—known as cannetille—creates an openwork pattern through the folds of the ribbon design. Stamped 990 for fineness on back. Old c-style clasp. 1.5” length and 1.25” width.
