- Vintage Fenton Cranberry Pink Ribbed Melon Glass Vase with Ruffled Edge - This vase features Fenton's Ribbed Melon Pattern on the body and a Ruffled/Crimped Edge at the top. - Produced by Fenton Art Glass Company (unmarked) - Fenton did not start molding their logo onto pieces until 1970, and previously used paper labels that often fell off. - Fenton introduced Cranberry glass in the early 1930s, and later introduced the Cranberry Opalescent glass in 1940. - The "Ribbed Melon" pattern was first produced in the 1920s, and then reintroduced in the 1940s and 1950s. - This piece is estimated to have been made between 1930 and 1940, based on Fenton catalogues. - Measures approximately 5 inches tall - Highly collectible in this coveted Cranberry Pink Ribbed Melon design. - This item is in Excellent Vintage Condition and may show minor signs of wear that can be expected with age.
