Louis Vuitton collaborated with French Company of California to manufacture pieces for the United States demand in the 1970's - 1990's. Pieces were sold through high end retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, I Magnin as well as other luxury luggage. Since FC pieces were produced only a short while...they are highly sought after and collectible due to their rarity. The Monogram shows very nicely - vivid and crisp....no wear really showing at all..a couple small white areas that may clean away. Inside is lined in supple espresso color tanned leather...has slip pockets on either side. Leather fold over snap closure secures things inside...it functions perfectly.
