Measuring 9 inches across the base and 9 inches tall at the top, this vintage hygrometer is a unique piece made from exotic California Redwood burl / Live Edge with a resin fill and glazed finish. It is fully functional, providing accurate pressure readings for its new owner. The readings are "stormy", "rain", "chance", "fair" and "very dry". The barometer was made in West Germany, so was likely constructed before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The German craftsmanship is top-notch, with intricate details that showcase the beauty of the rare and restricted Redwood.
