Vintage Evening Purse Black Gold Brocade Faux Pearl Frame Made in France AS IS

Elegant black and gold brocade purse. Marked Made in France. It is a smaller purse with a wide skirt. It has a frame in open gold tone topped with faux pearls (see condition report below). The chain is 15". The front has a stamped metal loop for opening purse. The inside is lined in beige crepe with a pleated side pocket. The France stamp is tiny on the side of the inside frame. The colors of the brocade have faded over time--the gold tone is a whisper. If one stretches the sides, the original brighter color is shown. The current moody look is equally appealing. Size: 6 1/2 tall including frame; 8 1/2" across widest; 1 1/2" sides Condition: Note this is offered as is. NOTE- the faux pearl frame is missing its very top, larger pearl. We found it inside the pocket. We will allow the buyer to decide about means of re-attaching (glue?). The inside liner has one smear of lipstick. The little metal loop will open the purse, but not easily. We recommend using fingernail to separate the 2 sides of the frame. Price: $20 #8585b F4/12
