Up for offer here is a vintage, later 20th century, 1982, double oval opening matted original scratchboard art, depicting a Goldfinch bird perched on the branch of a rosebush, by award winning Regionalist artist, Erma Eaton, from Salem, Ohio. By the end of the 1970's, Miss Eaton had one nearly 100 awards for her scratchboard drawings and participated in the Annuals at The Butler Institute of Art Museum, in Youngstown, Ohio. Excellent condition. Matting measures approximately 8" x 10", oval sight size is 5" x 7". This came from the estate of collectors Dr. Fred and Margaret ‘Sis” Soller of Boardman and Youngstown, Ohio.
