Vintage English Pink Transfer-ware Ironstone Bowl

Charming decorative plate with a pink pastoral display from the W.H. Grindley & Co. This is from the “Scenes After Constable”- with patters reflecting John Constable’s Idyllic landscapes and rural life. This bowl displays a woman by a mill as a stream serenely flows by. The date of the plate is unknown, but this pattern was used from 1936 to 1954. Bowl measures 7 3/4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches tall. There are no chips but gorgeous crazing under the glazing and some slight staining on the outside possibly from manufacturing. See photos for reference.
