Vintage emerald green planter in the late Art Deco/early Mid Century Modern style of vertical triangles. This piece has a streamlined feel while the beautiful green color and texture differences maintains an organic tone.
UPCo (Ungemach Pottery Company) was founded in the 1930s in the Roseville, OH area. Ungemach (1900-1984), had worked for the Nelson McCoy Pottery as a boy and later for Ransbottom Pottery (RRP Co). A very underrated pottery house! This is just one example of the lovely work they produced throughout the years.
This piece measures 7.5 in long, 4.5 in wide and is 2 3/4 in tall. This piece is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Marked UPCo USA 277 on the bottom.
