Vintage Embroidery Kit Dear Little Baby New Mother Prayer Jane Snead Samplers

Vintage unused “Keepsake Needlework” embroidery kit by Jane Snead Samplers, formerly located in Philadelphia, PA. The company was in operation from the 1960’s through the 1990’s. Stitches featured in this sampler: Cross Stitch and Outline Stitch Thread colors used: Black, Brown, Light Green, Pink and Blue. Kit number 303: Baby Sampler This heirloom sampler commemorates the birth of a baby. There is a blank space where you may personalize this sampler by adding a name and date. The saying reads, “Dear little baby born to-day, May God be with you all the way.” The address on this sampler kit uses the two-digit zip code, which dates this item prior to 1963. The sample birth date printed on the instruction sheet is 1954. Framed Size: 13 inches by 16 inches. Each Sampler Kit contains: Sampler clearly printed on Imported Pure Linen; Complete and easy-to-follow directions including color chart; Sufficient Embroidery Floss to complete sampler; Mounting and Framing instructions. Made in U.S.A. Condition: New (old stock). Never used. The plastic bag and paper instruction sheet show a little wear and/or discoloration due to age. The sampler and thread inside are clean and like new. Each Jane Snead sampler is an original design and each pattern was silk-screened by hand onto 100% pure Belgian linen. The embroidery floss used for the stitching is J&P Coats Deluxe 100% pure cotton thread.
