Vintage Embroidered Cobalt Blue Shirt, S

Made in Japan for the Western market. My grandmother bought this when she lived in Japan in the 1960s. this shirt feels like a heavy silk but there’s no fabric tag. It’s embroidered with metallic silver and gold colored threads. It was likely a pajama top, it has black piping at the collar, sleeves, pockets and down the front. Most of the fabric toggle closures are missing, there’s one at the neck. Very good vintage condition, some minor flaws, see the detail images. This would look great as a shacket layered over a light knit turtleneck. Vintage size small. Measurements: 13” shoulder, 19” chest, 23” length, 16” sleeves.
