He was an immigrant from Austria. His company produced ladies clothing including a piece of jewelry on the clothing (such as a brooch). The company used the best Austrian Swarovski rhinestones. It soon became clear that customers also were interested in ordinary (loose) jewelry. Around 1930 the Eisenberg Company began to produce a whole line of jewelry. Eisenberg Jewelry is still pricey because of their quality, craftsmanship and elegant designs. The Eisenberg Company still exists.
