Vintage Egyptian Revival Necklace ~Read complete description please~ From my private collection This vintage necklace features a striking 5½ x 4 inch, 5 section pendant with two confronting winged griffins (mythical eagle-lion creatures) flanking and gripping a central key-like bar with rings, topped by a circular element, and suspended below a textured crescent-shaped form with dangling tassel drops. The 24 inch chain is a classic belcher or curb style with bar links and a fleur-de-lis charm, suggesting French or European influence. Hook end. After tons of research, my conclusion is that this is most likely made by Christian Lacroix or Yves Saint Laurant Rive Gauche, though not definite. Stretching it further, it may be a Kramer. I view no damage or wear. Very possibly a one of a kind or a museum piece.
