Vintage Egyptian Revival Enamel & Gold Tone Choker Necklace; Signed DG; 14.5”

This is a magnificent vintage Egyptian revival style choker featuring decadent, green and blue, foil backed enamel in an articulated, gold tone setting. Signed “DG” on reverse. Lots of controversy over whether this stands for Dolce & Gabana or Gianni de Liguoro. Either way, it’s an awesome looking piece! Details: ***Measurements (approximate): 14.5” long. Center piece (largest) is 21.3 mm high x 15.5 mm wide. Smallest is 11.8 mm high x 9.9 mm wide. ***Markings: Signed “©️ DG” inside raised rectangular lozenge on reverse of center piece. ***Weight: 2.28 ounces total weight. ***Condition: Good preowned vintage condition (est. c. 1980’s to 1990’s). Shows signs of wear commensurate with age, including: slight wear to gold plating on reverse. Enamel has some areas of slight overfill (only noticeable upon close inspection).
