Vintage East West Tan Leather Jacket Signed Reptila Numbered 200 13 HTF Original

This vintage East West Musical Instruments Co. leather jacket has wooden buttons and breast pockets. The inside label has Reptila written in ink along with the numbers 2001 and 13. There is a Made in the USA tag just below the leather company tag. The lining is polyester with a Dry Clean tag designating leather care. The word reptial is handwritten on the dry clean tag. Given the age, this jacket is in good condition with no minor cracks or tears in the leather or lining material. There are a few areas of spots on the jacket, as shown in the photos. There are also areas, where the color is uneven - most notably the sleeves - with light areas.There is also a darker spot on the right sleeve, and surface scratch marks. The approximate measurements were taken flat: - Chest 18" - Waist 16.75" - Shoulders 16" - Sleeve Length 24" - Length shoulder to hem 21" The East West Musical Instruments Company was started in 1967 by Norman Stubbs and because a famous leather clothing supplier in the San Fransisco music scene. Rock stars from around the world ordered and wore the clothing produced by East West. Stubbs designed each coat and hired artists to render his design to a physical product. The company stopped producing in 1979. Why I selected this item for my shop: East West - need I say more?
