Vintage Early Alligator Crocodile Satchel Handbag midtone Tan BROWN Fabulous!

From my personal vintage collection in my smoke, free home I got this many years ago from an old Philadelphia estate with great vintage clothing This is a genuine, either alligator or crocodile skin satchel handbag Very early in date. I would date it somewhere from the late 1800’s to the 1930’s. Sort of a cylinder type shape as you can see in the photos Measures approximately 8” long by 4” wide The strap handle drop is 4 inches Inside there’s a little chain with a silk or satin change purse attached. The fabric on the change purse is a bit crunched on one side, but it still usable. The entire bag is still good for use and the lining is intact. It looks adorable displayed. The color is hard to describe. But the diamond stitching is like a dark tan and the skins ate what I would call it chestnut brown. It looks different in different light. It has really great patina. In great vintage shape with barely any wear on it. Great authentic piece for TV, film, and theater work. Please see all photos
